Where: Meet in W.T. Lewis Cafeteria, then head outside to tend to the garden
Why: The Blooming Bulldogs of W.T. Lewis offers a place to enrich teaching efforts with powerful hands-on experiences that make learning come alive. As members of the Blooming Bulldogs, students will learn the process of caring for plants & take ownership over the entire process from planting to plate. The cost is $50 per student, which includes a W.T. Lewis Blooming Bulldogs t-shirt & any supplies needed for the year.
Blooming Bulldogs will cap at 16 students. First 16 to submit contract & fee will be accepted.

W.T. Lewis Elementary: The i3 Theatre Competition flyer is attached! A couple of important highlights for this year:
1. The deadline to register has been changed to February 26
2. There is a cap on entries, they are taking the first 10 entries in each category/division that have registered with all completed paperwork.
3. This competition is open to ALL students, not just the TAP kids or kids in theatre classes.

Lewis Elementary: As part of Bossier Schools' continued efforts to strengthen family engagement, the Parent Center has created a Google Form to share suggestions and ideas for future Parent Center workshops. Parents are encouraged to fill out the form to help guide the planning of workshops that support our students and their families.

W.T. Lewis Elementary: Yearbook Class & Club Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, January 20th. Students should wear their school uniform. Students who are in clubs should bring the t-shirt that represents that club so they can put the shirt on when the club picture is taken.

W.T. Lewis Elementary: All W.T. Lewis students are invited to participate in their grade level poetry contest on Wednesday, January 28th. The grade level winner will represent W.T. Lewis at the District Level Competition on Thursday, February 12th. If you would like your student to participate, complete the participation form that was sent home and return it to your student’s homeroom teacher.

⭐️ID’s are required for checkouts. No checkouts after 2:30 PM.
⭐️Dismissal changes must be done by 12 noon. Email your child’s teacher or call the office.
⭐️Carline tags are required for carline pick up. Carline tags must remain visible until the student enters the vehicle. If you need a tag, come in the office before 2:30 with your ID to get one or you will have to wait until carline is over to come in to get your student and show an ID.

Our school counselor, Mrs Williams, is working on a special project & to help make her vision come to life, we’re hosting a used toy drive now through January! Have toys your kiddos have outgrown? This is the perfect opportunity to clear them out to make room for all the new gifts coming this holiday season. 🎄🎁
