W.T. Lewis Elementary: REMINDER! Harrington House will be on campus to take Christmas Pictures tomorrow! Remember to dress your child for Christmas picture day Wednesday, November 13th! Photographs will only be taken if students are not dressed in school uniform. Proof envelopes will be sent home 2 weeks after picture day. If you would like sibling portraits, send the form with the oldest child along with $5. The children must attend W.T. to be photographed.
W.T. Lewis Elementary: The next Snack Store event will be, Friday, November 15th! Students will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of snacks ranging from $1-$3. All proceeds will benefit the Music Department for the December Musical.

W.T. Lewis Elementary: Lewis League is a group of volunteers that support the school. The group meets once a month to discuss various topics, plan school events, and volunteer at events. All parents are encouraged to join the Lewis League. The next meeting will be held on November 14th at noon. We will discuss Christmas at W.T. Lewis.

The Bulldog Art Club is a place for practicing artists to hone in on their skills, develop their techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves, create bonds with the community through the arts, and learn how to work together through group projects that will beautify the school and community. The Bulldog Art Club is open to students in all grade levels, Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each month will focus on a different medium and complete a different piece of art. The cost for November's Art Club meeting will be $35 per student, which includes all supplies needed & a snack/juice. Each month, a new sign up & registration will be sent out. Any additional proceeds will benefit the general fund, hospitality fund, technology fund & professional development fund. Art pieces are subject to be used for the Bossier Parish i3 Art Expo in February. Selected Art pieces will be kept and stored by Mrs. Mills and will be returned after the i3 Art Expo. November Art Club Meeting Information Activity: Louisiana Oysters Medium: Acrylic Paint on Oyster Shells The November meeting date will be Thursday, November 14th. In order to provide time to purchase supplies needed, the deadline to register is Thursday, November 7th at 11:59PM. The Art Club meetings will be held after School until 4:30 PM. W.T. Lewis Elementary: Your child was given an Impact Aid Program Survey Form last Friday. These forms were accompanied by a letter explaining the process of filling them out. We need them returned to your child's teacher by Monday, November 4th. We appreciate your assistance in getting these forms returned.
Through its annual Coats for Kids project, Porter's Cleaners distributes coats to kids who might otherwise not have one. Coats are being collected at WT Lewis Elementary now & the donation bin is located in the front office! Please consider donating any coats or jackets your child has outgrown. Lewis is committed to supporting our military students through our Student 2 Student (S2S) program, services through our Military Family Life Counselor, celebrating the month of the military child, & our Military Club called Brave Bulldogs! The Brave Bulldogs will meet with other military students once per month. The objective of Brave Bulldogs is to provide a community of military students to connect with each other through shared experiences. Brave Bulldogs is open to all W.T.
