📱 💜BMS Technology Policy Reminder for 2025–2026!💛📱 To help students stay focused and create the best learning environment, here’s what you need to know: ✅No headphones or earbuds on campus. ✅Phones and smart watches must be powered down and in backpacks before exiting the bus or car each morning. ✅Devices stay powered down until 2:40 PM. 📌Offenses & Consequences: Repeated use of phones or devices during the school day will result in escalating consequences—starting with phone pick‑up at the office and moving to parent conferences and behavior referrals. ☎️Need to contact your child during the day? ✅ There’s a phone in the front office students can use. ✅ Parents can call the front office if they need to get a message to their student. With 12 years of high school science experience, she’s passionate about helping students build strong foundations and feel confident as they dive into their science journey.🔬✨ When she’s not in the classroom, you’ll most likely find her at the ballpark cheering on her 11‑year‑old son with her husband by her side!⚾ 💭What is Mrs. DuBose most excited about as a BMS Tiger? “I’m excited for the opportunity to change things up by teaching 7th grade after spending the past 12 years teaching high school science. I bring a unique perspective that allows me to help middle school students build strong foundational skills and make meaningful connections to what they’ll encounter in high school science. While she may be new to teaching science, she’s not new to us—Mrs. Caple previously served as a Special Education Paraprofessional for 4 years and already knows what it means to be part of the BMS family.💫 She’s passionate about helping students grow, build confidence, and believe in themselves. She lives in Bossier with her husband and four children, loves audiobooks, and isn’t afraid to adventure with power tools!🔧📚 When asked what she’s most excited about being a BMS Tiger, she said: “I look forward to building relationships with all the amazing people that work and teach here and being a part of a well-respected campus!” We’re so excited to have her in this new role!
