🩳 BHS Dress Code Bottoms/Spirit Wear Clarification 🩳
In hopes to provide some clarity on acceptable and not acceptable bottoms for the upcoming school year, please see the attached flyer. NAVY bottoms WILL be permitted. Also attached is the handbook page regarding dress code policy.
All items purchased from last year's spirit store may also be worn Monday - Friday. This will give students a two year cycle worth of Benton High store wear. Spirit wear outside of the store may still only be worn on Friday. Hoodies are still NOT permitted for the upcoming school year.
Good morning!
If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

📣 Attention Benton High School Families! 📣
As we prepare for another great school year, we want to remind all students and parents to review the updated dress code guidelines for the upcoming school year.
The dress code is designed to promote a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment for all students. Taking a few minutes to review the guidelines before back-to-school shopping can help ensure a smooth start to the year and avoid any dress code concerns on the first day of school.
📋 Please take time to carefully review the attached dress code information.
🐯 At Benton High School, we believe that when students are dressed for success, they are prepared to learn, lead, and represent Tiger Nation with pride

‼️ Schedule forms due Friday ‼️
Reminder that THIS FRIDAY is the last day to turn in your signed course request form. This is the LAST day that schedule changes will be made for next school year. Please turn in your signed form to the counselors office.
IMPORTANT ACT INFO:
Bossier Schools has been informed by ACT they are rescoring the state and district spring ACT taken online during the school day and removing scores from students’ MyACT accounts today. The spring ACT was administered by Bossier Schools the week of March 24.
ACT ensures student scores will NOT be lower than what was previously released. When scores are available again, composite and section scores will remain the same OR go up slightly based on individual student performance. ACT anticipates making the revised scores available no later than June 2.
There is no action you need to take. ACT will post revised scores on MyACT and resend scores to students’ schools. If a student previously opted to send scores via ACT to a college, university or scholarship-awarding organization, they will also be sent any updated scores.
ACT apologizes for the inconvenience and will provide updated communication to Bossier Schools once students’ revised scores are uploaded to online reporting.
Seniors that are interested in being a student section leader for next year, please complete the Google form below by May 15th.
