🏈 Student Football Season Passes🏈

We will begin selling student season passes tomorrow (08/28) in the front office during lunch. They are $10.00 and cash or card is accepted. These passes are for Benton High students only. Students that already get in free to games (ie: cheer, dance, pep squad, band, etc) are NOT permitted to buy a pass, and only 1 pass per student will be sold. This will admit you to all regular season home games (5 games total). We look forward to seeing our student section packed out this season!!!!

PSAT/NMSQT TEST- Last day to sign up

Today is the LAST DAY to sign up to take the PSAT!! The PSAT/NMSQT will be given at BHS on Tuesday, October 22, 2025. This test is ONLY available to sophomores and juniors.

The cost to test is $18.00. Fees should be paid in the SchoolCashOnline portal by Wednesday, August 27, 2025. REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL FEE IS PAID and Google form is complete.


The PSAT is recommended for students with a 3.5 G.P.A. or higher and is a great opportunity for your student to qualify for some of the most prestigious scholarships available. Sophomores can use this opportunity to practice test-taking skills. Students' junior year is the qualifying year to be a National Merit Scholar.

🎨 BHS National Art Honor Society Mrs. Mattox and Ms. Parrie will be holding an interest meeting for the National Art Honor Society on Wednesday, September 3rd in Ms. Parrie’s room (A-107). There will be a morning meeting at 7:00am and an after school meeting from 2:30-3:00. **The same information will be shared at both meetings, so only plan on attending one meeting. This is open to Sophomores thru Seniors only.

Civics Teacher of the Year Finalist Congratulations to Benton High’s own Hanna Kairschner. She is one of just 10 finalists nationwide for the Bill of Rights Institute National Civics Teacher of the Year Award for the 2025-2026 school year She became a finalist by submitting an essay on the role of civics education and educators in preparing students to live out the ideals of a free and just society. Good luck in the next round of competition!
